ELKHART, IN -- Victoria L. "Vickie" Christensen, 59, of 24612 Aric Way, died at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital.
Born in Mishawaka to Leonard and Virginia (Hoffman) Lebold, she married Dave Christensen on Oct. 9, 1970.
He survives along with two sons, Jason (Jade) Christensen of McKinney, Texas, and Jeret (Alison) Christensen of Osceola, and two grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Christensen retired from Bayer and at the time of her death was employed by Seimens
Productions, Elkhart. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to
8 p.m. Monday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S.
Main St., Goshen. Friends and family will meet at the
funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to travel in procession
to the 11 a.m. graveside service at Brown Cemetery,
Millersburg. |

ELKHART-- Edith J. "Joan" Price, 60, of Elkhart, died at 11:27 p.m. Sunday in
Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness.
Joan was born to Bernard J. Price and Delorse Seratt in Hulbert, Okla.
She is survived by one son, Thomas D. (fiancée Andrea Konter) Price of South Bend; one sister,
Berna D. "Bernie" Price of Elkhart; one brother, Darell W. Price of Indianapolis; one
granddaughter; and one special friend, Judy Holmes of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents
and one brother, John T. Price and was a 1968 graduate of Concord High School.
She worked for ESI Packaging nearly 12 years then retired. She was an
avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed board games, "NCIS," "Law &
Order" and "Cash Cab." She enjoyed reading to her granddaughter and was an animal lover.

ELKHART, IN -- Linda Jo Hochstetler, 60, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday evening (Feb. 26, 2011) at home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1950, in Elkhart, to Ira Lee and Esther Mai (Shirley) Schwyn
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy J. Nickoson of Elkhart, Tiffany L. Williams of Bristol and Trina K. (Carlos) Williams of Elkhart; grandchildren Bredon Nickoson of Elkhart, and Jadyn Miller of Middlebury; sister Carla LaCounte of Elkhart; and her father, Ira Lee Schwyn of St. Joseph, Mich. In addition, there are three half sisters and a half brother surviving.
Linda was a line supervisor at KIK Custom Products, Elkhart, where she worked more than 20 years. She was a 1968 graduate of Concord High School and she loved country music, dancing, watching movies and going to Cedar Point. She will be greatly missed by her family
and especially her min-pin, Tika. |

ELKHART, IN -- Donna L. Weldy, 62, was born to Donald and Colleen (Perkins) Schlabaugh and married Larry D. Weldy in 1995.
He survives along with her mother, Colleen Schlabaugh of Elkhart; two daughters, Amanda Baumer and Staci (Bill) Lechlitner, both of Elkhart; two sons, Adam (Jennifer) Schooley and Scott (Shawn) Schooley, both of Elkhart; a step-daughter, Melissa Weldy of Goshen; two step-sons, Brian Weldy of Georgia and Craig (Sherry) Weldy of South Bend; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Diane (Jeff) Blankenberger of Kokomo; and a brother, Robert Schlabaugh of Edwardsburg.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, William (Bill) Schlabaugh; and a son-in-law, Darrell Baumer.
A lifetime area resident, Donna retired from ADEC after more than 20 years. |

ELKHART, IN -- Sally Jo Scheetz, 63, of Elkhart, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Golden Living Center.
She was born in Mishawaka on March 31, 1950, to Maurice and Phyllis (Morningstar) Trigg, and married Roger L. Scheetz on July 8, 1972, in Elkhart.
He survives along with two children, Gary L. Scheetz of Goshen and Jennifer L. (Philip) Rissot of Middlebury; and five grandchildren, Dillon Scheetz, Lillianne Rissot, Camille Rissot, Abbigaile Rissot and Jackson Scheetz. Also surviving are four brothers, Gordon Trigg of Joplin, Mo., and Rick Trigg, Randy (Diane) Trigg and Ted Trigg, all of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sally was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping and working in her flower garden. |
